Thanks to every single person who has shared or signed this petition, the Grossmont Union High School District Superintendent and Principal Kastan have agreed to meet with us next Wednesday. By "us" I mean me, the head coach of the Norsemen, a parent and a student athlete. I also have received an email from ONE member of the school board who, I believe, GETS IT. To wit: "It is our commitment to the community when we ask them to support our Bond initiatives that they are assured the benefit of joint use and equal access to our facilities with consideration for school hour activities having first priority. For Valhalla to deny you that access now after extending the usage previously, makes no good sense..." We will keep you all updated!
