Bears are constantly in people's garbage throughout Prince George, neighbors waking up to other people's garbage in their yards to clean up. These bears are just trying to eat, and the city has made it easy for the bears to find easy food by not supplying the city with proper garbage bins. Not everyone have the ability to store their garbage inside, even when they do the bears are destroying sheds to get to the garbage. Putting straps on the garbage bins don't always work, the bears break the straps, or just push the lids inward. A change needs to be made, for the safety of the bears, the safety of our kids, pets and property. Please sign this petition to help show the city we need appropriate bins for our town.
