Calling on fellow Singaporeans and residents of Singapore to show support for Mr. Louis Ng's call for banning smoking near windows and on balconies in homes. 

Smoking kills. And second hand smoking kills people who didn't choose to smoke. In a civil society no one should bear the cost of someone else's irresponsible act !

With absence of any law that prohibits smoking near windows and on balconies in homes, smokers simply don't want to listen to any advisory or mediation. Without a law, even local MP, CMC or NEA can't do anything beyond advisory.

With more people working from home , which will likely continue for long - threat of passive smoking need to be addressed like a public health hazard. 

I urge you to sign the petition to highlight the magnitude of the problem.
