Hello everyone, the news we've all been waiting for is here! Shirley and Abu have been confiscated from the infamous Johor Zoo. In a few weeks time they will be sent to their natural habitat at the Matang wildlife centre in Sarawak, Malaysia. FREEDOM for Shirley and Abu finally.

This success was made possible because of YOU. Your calling for these 2 orang utans finally made the authorities move! Trust us when we say this wouldn't happen if you didn't come forward to help.

Nature Alert would like to THANK YOU for your help! You are amazing!

==========================================================

Would you like to help save two wonderful orangutans from a life of misery in the infamous Johor Zoo, southern Malaysia?

Yes? Then all you need to do is to sign on to this petition and the letter we have prepared will be on its way to Malaysia’s Prime Minister and other VIP’s. If then you would like to follow the progress of this campaign you can do so at the FB page of Sean Whyte here:

Shirley is a cigarette smoking orangutan, and she is consistently fed junk food thrown at her by visitors to the zoo. Shirley, alone in her enclosure has barely anything to do all day long everyday.

Abu, the male orangutan, is rarely if ever allowed outside of his dungeon-like cage. The temperature and humidity inside must be torturous, as the weather in Malaysia is notoriously hot and humid.

Please help save Shirley and Abu by signing this petition.

Many thanks for helping out.
