According to an article published in The Globe and Mail the Canadian governments expects that the weapons being sold to Saudi Arabia will be used in the conflict in Yemen. Furthermore, the most the Foreign Minister Stèphane Dion has done is tell Saudi Arabia to be careful how it uses these weapons. This is unacceptable. The Canadian government needs to immediately suspend this arms deal knowing these weapons will be used in the conflict in Yemen which is causing a severe humanitarian crisis and has resulted in the loss of hundreds of innocent civilians lives.
