My name is Keval Joshi. I'm an Indian citizen from the state of Gujarat, the same state as our prime Minister to whom this petition goes out to.

My goal is to get India to withdraw it's silent support to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As I write this petition it has been 15 days since the war against Ukraine and Humanity started.

Russia has a pattern of escalating conflict until it finally annexes and cripples a nation. It has followed this pattern with Moldova and Georgia. 

I recognise that in the past, India and Russia have been good allies and friends. That is actually what motivates me to make this petition. The average Russian citizen is struggling due to the actions of a blind government. The weight of the sanctions will cripple the already strained economy of Russia. The army was lied to and told that they were going to a practice excercise.

This is a war among sibling states. It's main victims are citizens. Russia has been bombing indiscriminately for the past few days, and action must be taken. I feel that India as a close ally must use all its weight to end this war. Through diplomatic or economic force, we must stand on the side of collective humanity.

A friend should not allow their friend to commit a massacre.

I want enough signatures that this petition reaches the honorable prime minister, and I can reach him and hopefully convey these thoughts directly to him.

My goal is to hasten the end of the war. Russia threatens the collective globe when it readies it's nuclear capabilities.

And as Indians we have dealt with invaders trying to take our land away on multiple fronts. We cannot allow Russia to begin a new age of expansion and bring about global conflict in a time of nuclear weaponry.
