Denmark is a big shame.The sea is stained in red due to the cruelty of human beings.They  slaughter hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins.
This happens every year in Faroe Island in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants  are young teens.WHY?
They do this as a celebration of adulthood! Everyone is participating in one way or the other in this "tradition", either killing or looking at the cruelty.

We question just how much of the meat and blubber will actually be consumed since the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientist have issued warnings that Faroese people should not eat these products at all due to the high levels of pollutants found in them.

Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon, like all the other species of
dolphins, it’s near extinction. They get near men to play and interact in a way of PURE friendship. They don’t die instantly, they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks... and at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child. There’s no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood.  Enough with this!

Recently India has declared dolphins and whales as 'non human persons' and has banned their captivity and use as public entertainment.

We ask Prime Minister Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen and Minister of Fisheries Jacob Vestergaard to ban this cruelty for good and recognize these beautiful beings as non human persons.
