The President, Chairman and Committee of the Dublin Central Branch, of The Royal British Legion would Like to ask ALL of our facebook friends and their friends, in helping us to honour the very last of "The Few". Irishman Gp Capt John "Paddy" Hemingway DFC, AE (who is 101 years old) is the very last airman alive, who fought in the Battle of Britain.We are asking you to sign our petition and when we have collected 10,000 signatures we will send it to the Prime Minister's Office. We are asking you to join us in not just Honouring Paddy but this gesture will also acknowledge those Knight's of the sky's who defended our sky's in Europe's darkest hour. The Dublin Central Branch are of the view that a Knighthood is the most befitting gesture that can be bestowed upon Paddy. Please join us in helping us achieve this Goal.
