Prevention of wild foxes in our area

The Issue

Over the years , wild foxes have been doubling / tripling in size in all areas around London - especially Walthamstow and Leyton . Only recently they have started preying on cats/ killing them/ harming them and eating them !!!! A lot of cats in the neighbourhood have been victims of such horrible encounters , thus resulting to many tamed/ stray cats (that are being fed by us) to go missing out of thin air or seen to be killed and laying lifeless in our gardens. We need to protect our feline creatures, as they are our babies and a huge part of our families. A change needs to be made!

My beautiful baby simba has sadly been a victim of this on 25 may at 1 am, 1 1/2 weeks after his 2nd birthday. He has been brutally attacked by 3 foxes who have ganged up on him and have absolutely destroyed him. After the attack they threw him with full force onto the neighbours garden, thus leading him to be paralysed neck down. Once the emergency vets have been called and examinations have been carried , one of two horrible options were offered : 1. To put him down; 2. To let him live, undergo masses of operations / treatments for him but expect no results as he’d be paralysed for the rest of his life and remain a complete vegetable. Both options were extremely saddening for us  considering we just wanted him to be okay.

Please help me gain justice, not only for simba , but other cats that have been victims from such horrible malicious wild foxes. Spread the word so a change can be made and we can all live as stress free cat owners without making it an element of our life to be in constant grief from losing our fur babies. They need us to do the best we can to protect them, seeing as they give their lives to protect us and adore us like crazy.  Spread the word!
