Prevent Unauthorized Towing by Mr. C’s Towing in L.A. County

Prevent Unauthorized Towing by Mr. C’s Towing in L.A. County
The Issue
On July 5, 2025, an exceptionally frustrating and painful incident occurred when Mr. C’s Towing Company towed my car from my assigned parking space, despite having a valid parking pass. Sadly, this isn't an isolated experience and residents, including myself, within Los Angeles County, CA, are subjected to unauthorized towing practices.
Several residents have been targeted, whereby personal vehicles, including tents and other personal property, are towed away unlawfully by this towing company. Notably, there have been false claims made by Mr. C’s Towing, as demonstrated when I took the matter to the police at the towing yard. They alleged that they consulted with our property manager before proceeding with the tow - which was a blatant lie. Our community has been without a property manager since May 28, 2025. The towing company’s audacity goes further, insisting they communicated with the head of security, when no such conversation occurred.
Such unscrupulous practices not only inconvenience us financially and emotionally but also erode the trust and sense of security we ought to have in our community. It’s evident that Mr. C’s Towing Company operates with little regard for proper procedure or truth, acting instead upon opportunities to exploit residents under false pretenses.
The goal of this petition is to call upon the relevant authorities and stakeholders to immediately reassess and ultimately terminate the contract with Mr. C's Towing in Los Angeles County. We urge the examination and overhaul of their operating procedures and demand accountability for their actions. Implementing a standardized verification process before any towing operation can further protect residents against such malpractices.
Please support this cause by signing this petition to help end unauthorized towing practices perpetrated by Mr. C’s Towing Company, thereby safeguarding the rights and belongings of residents in Los Angeles County.
