As a concerned citizen deeply committed to service excellence, I rely on Service NSW for efficient access to numerous essential government services. The news that Premier Minns, Treasurer Mookhey, and Minister Dib from the NSW Labour Government are planning to halve the operations of Service NSW, threatens many individuals and businesses who, like me, depend on its award-winning customer service.

This institution has been nationally and globally renowned for its exemplary service, streamlining the complexities of government bureaucracy for so many. Yet, the NSW Labour Party seeks to diminish these efforts, which will certainly result in longer queues and waiting time, reminiscent of the past struggles with RTA. This will indeed leave us Service-less. 

I call upon the private sector entities planning to partner with Service NSW to step forward and join our fight to protect this invaluable asset. We must act now to prevent the NSW Labour’s legacy from becoming the demise of Service NSW. We cannot afford to backslide into inefficiency.
