I am one among many loyal listeners of 104.7 The Fish, an Atlanta-based Christian radio station. Over the years, The Fish has fostered a loving community through numerous events and special offerings. However, our cherished radio station is threatened to shut its doors. The proposition to allow KLove to operate a second Christian radio station could establish a monopoly, turning KLove into the sole Christian broadcaster in the area. 

This radio market diversification ensures that Atlanta's listeners have distinct choices to cater to their varied preferences. These radio stations not only supply spiritual nourishment but also play a pivotal role in contributing to the rich tapestry of Atlanta's cultural scene. Single ownership of the market may potentially limit perspectives and diversity in content.

As per a study from the Pew Research Center, 51% of Americans still listen to AM/FM Radio every day, indicating the significance these channels play in many lives. Moreover, a healthy competition among stations can foster creativity and innovation in programming, ultimately benefiting listeners.

Our request is simple- we want KLove to continue with their current single station in Atlanta and leave 104.7 The Fish to operate independently under the EMF Family.
