The Issue

As a regular participant of the Reb3l Groove and Reb3l Strength group fitness classes at Willow Creek Vasa Fitness, this cause is deeply personal. Like many, I too struggled with gym anxiety. The thought of navigating through the maze of machines and workout routines was daunting. Discovering the Reb3l classes allowed me to finally turn my fitness goals into reality. An instructor was always there to guide us, LED lights setting the mood, and music pushing us to our limits. The value these classes provided was irreplaceable.

Lately, there has been distressing news regarding the removal of Reb3l Groove Mondays at 4:00 PM, Reb3l Strength Mondays at 5:00 PM, and Reb3l Strength Wednesdays 9:30 AM. These sessions consistently draw 20 to 30 participants, demonstrating their popularity and effectiveness. It's not just fitness, for many of us, it's a community, a place to build friendships and share in each other's fitness goals.

Decisions about gym programs should always be made keeping patrons' interests at the forefront. As per the American Psychological Association, group fitness classes like Reb3l contribute to a significant reduction in stress levels and a noticeable improvement in mental well-being. The current proposal ignores the benefits of such classes and disappoints dedicated attendees and instructors alike who have built a strong relationship based on mutual dedication to fitness.

Just as each one of us has fought gym anxiety to make strides towards better fitness, we now need to unite and communicate our desire to preserve these phenomenal fitness classes. Our collective action can prevent these highly beneficial group fitness classes from being unfairly removed. Please lend your voice to our cause and sign this petition.
