Prevent the release of a sex offender in Utah

Prevent the release of a sex offender in Utah
The Issue
My sister is one of the many victims of a convicted sex offender who is now up for release in Utah. This criminal has caused deep and irreparable trauma to my family and countless others. The thought of allowing him to walk free and potentially harm more innocent lives is terrifying and unacceptable.
This man is not only an offender but an abuser as well. My mom and sister are both victims of his abuse. He has only served 5 years of a 15 year sentence.
According to Utah's criminal records, repeat offenders like him have a 35% higher likelihood of committing similar crimes again. Each year, thousands of families face the devastating impact of sexual violence. It's crucial that we do not give any opportunity to individuals who have shown a pattern of such heinous behavior to cause more pain and suffering.
The safety and well-being of our communities must come first. Allowing this offender back into society threatens the sense of security we dramatically need. The judicial system must prioritize public safety and the rights of victims over the possibility of probation or release for repeat offenders.
We urge the parole board and state authorities to deny the release of this dangerous individual based on his criminal record and the numerous lives he has negatively impacted.
Please help us keep our families and communities safe by signing this petition. Let’s show that we stand with victims and ensure their voices are heard. Together, we can make a difference and protect those we love from becoming victims again. Sign this petition to demand justice and uphold the safety of all Utahans.
