The very identity of the Harman community has been shaped around its Elementary/High School. Parents, students, and alumni have dedicated significant time, funds, and efforts towards the betterment of this school, staging fundraisers and engaging in lifelong volunteer work to ensure our children have access to quality education, right here within our community. The school stands as a beacon, a point of convenience, in an area where the next accessible city or town is a treacherous thirty-minute journey away, often crossing three mountains. Winter seasons render this path even more dangerous, to a point where it occasionally shuts down for hours. 

Harman School is not just a structure of bricks, it is the bond that unifies our community. It's an emblem of our collective resolve, an institution symbolizing our dedication and unyielding spirit. Thus, the idea to close down Harman Elementary/High School signals more than just a change in logistics; it threatens our sense of unity, ease of education accessibility, and community solidarity.
