As a concerned parent and resident of Faversham, UK, I am deeply worried about the proposed establishment of an asylum centre near Bysingwood Primary School and its surrounding areas. The safety of our children and residents is paramount, and this development raises serious concerns. 

Our community prides itself on being safe and secure for our children to grow up in. However, introducing such a facility in close proximity to our school could potentially disrupt this peace. It is not about prejudice against immigrants; it's about ensuring that the environment around our schools remains conducive to learning.

According to data from the Home Office (2019), immigration centres often face issues related to overcrowding, which can lead to increased crime rates in nearby areas. While we understand the need for these facilities, we believe there are more suitable locations that would not directly impact a school environment or the local residents. 

We urge local authorities and decision-makers to reconsider this plan for the sake of our children's safety and wellbeing.
