The Point, a beloved establishment at UBC, is facing closure. This place has been more than just a study spot for many of us; it's been our "home away from home" on campus. The staff have always been amazing and friendly, creating an atmosphere that is irreplaceable.

The Point has served as a support system for students who need a break from campus while still being on campus. It's provided us with comfort and community in the midst of academic stress. If you haven't had the chance to experience this unique place yet, you may never get to if we don't act now.

The closure of The Point would not only mean losing an important social space but also potentially result in job losses for its dedicated staff members. We believe that preserving such spaces is essential for maintaining the character and spirit of our university community.
