Prevent the Closure of LA Fitness Clifton Basketball Court

The Issue

We, the undersigned members of the LA Fitness Clifton, strongly urge you to reconsider the decision to close down the cherished facility’s basketball court. Clifton’s basketball court holds a special place in our hearts, serving as a vital resource for our basketball group and members in general since the fitness center opened. Its closure would have far-reaching negative consequences on our group of members and friends who have built friendships and networks, centered around daily basketball in Clifton.

LA Fitness Clifton basketball court plays a pivotal role in our lives. It serves as a hub for cardio workouts, staying in shape, and providing invaluable support to countless individuals. The court is not just a basketball court; it is also used coaching to younger generations, and contributing to our overall well-being.

We acknowledge that there may be operational challenges that have led to the consideration of closure. However, we firmly believe that alternative solutions can be explored to address these issues without dismantling this vital resource. The basketball court has to be worth the investment, and we expect that LA Fitness will strongly consider all alternatives to avoid closing down this vital resource.

In addition to the immediate individual benefits it provides, the basketball court also plays a pivotal role in the long-term membership growth and maintaining the club’s current members. Its closure would inevitably result in a loss of memberships in favor of joining YMCA, Gold gym, Planet fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, and Lifetime Fitness, to name a few.

We, the undersigned, implore you to reconsider your decision to close Clifton LA Fitness basketball court. We have held and retained our memberships at LA Fitness with the primary intent of enjoying basketball. However, should the court become unavailable, we would promptly explore alternative fitness clubs mentioned earlier. Hoping that things don’t come to this and we can find a palatable solution that will preserve our cherished facility.
