I am a resident of River Falls, WI, USA and this petition is deeply personal to me. I believe that Taylor Swift's performances are slow-paced and lack the energy required for an event as grand as the Super Bowl. It's not about disliking her music or talent, it's about wanting a performance that matches the high-energy atmosphere of one of America's most-watched sporting events.

The Super Bowl halftime show has been graced by artists like Prince, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé who have delivered electrifying performances. According to Nielsen ratings data from 2020, over 102 million people watched the Super Bowl. This means that any halftime performance needs to be engaging and energetic enough to hold such a massive audience.

I believe there are many other artists who can deliver on this front better than Taylor Swift. Let us make sure our voices are heard by those responsible for selecting the performer for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
