Poverty affects peoples overall life quality, such as opportunity that a wealthy individual can only access to, and food security issues or health, etc.

If the situation stays the same this will affect the majority of future generations like

• Education issues 
• If not given enough opportunity by their families who can only provide them access to foods but not education.
• Affects the country's literacy rate.
• The social consequences of poverty include family issues, impacts on social and cultural lives, and higher rates of crime and victimization. 
• The economic consequences of poverty are a lack of social mobility, problems with housing and homelessness, and a segregated society.

 According to Duncan (2000) for the U.S., where it is found that family income matters most in the early years for the educational achievement of the child. The difference in institutional settings and levels of income inequality between Denmark and the U.S. however makes this cross county comparison difficult.

So, we should take action now before it gets worse in our country which can affect us further economically and protect the future of our country.
