Samuels Public Library is a cornerstone of our community, offering diverse resources and committed to enhancing knowledge and understanding. We do not support the plans of the Warren County Library Board or the Board of Supervisors to welcome Library Systems and Services (LSS) or any other external, for-profit provider to take over library services in Warren County. Despite the promise of efficiency, numerous communities have raised concerns about LSS's substandard services once they outsourced their libraries to this company.  In addition, given the value we place on Samuels, we vehemently oppose the unnecessary intrusion of an outsider. We therefore ask that LSS heed our community's voices and withdrawal their proposal to be a library services provider in Warren County.
