 PETITION: Demand a Permanent Ban on Animal Ownership and Breeding for Leetta Marshall
To:  Concerned Citizens, Animal Welfare Authorities, and the Judicial System Subject: Urgent Intervention and Permanent Ban regarding Leetta Marshall, Golden Barns, and Have A Heart Rescue.

THE ISSUE
For years, the community has witnessed a devastating pattern of animal neglect and exploitation orchestrated by Leetta Marshall (operating as Golden Barns and Have A Heart Rescue). Despite repeated interventions, including being named on the 2020 HSUS Horrible 100 list and a massive seizure of over 100 dogs in 2023, the cycle of cruelty continues.

Recent reports indicate a new arrest, yet the history of this case shows that temporary measures are not enough. In 2023, while 100 dogs were rescued from deplorable conditions, the court allowed Marshall to retain 25 intact dogs. As predicted, this led to immediate further breeding, continued sales, and more suffering.

THE EVIDENCE
HSUS Horrible 100 (2020): Inspectors found deceased puppies and noted that deaths occurred on a "frequent basis."
2023 Seizure: Over 100 dogs were removed due to being underweight and living in unsanitary conditions; several deaths were documented.
Operating Without Authority: Continued operation despite losing state license. +
Negligent Environment: The property, owned by Fountain Glen Farm LLC (Todd W Becker), has consistently served as the site for these documented horrors.
OUR DEMANDS
We, the undersigned, demand the following actions to protect our community's animals:

Permanent Prohibition: A lifetime ban preventing Leetta Marshall from working with, owning, breeding, harboring,  or selling any animals.
Comprehensive Investigation: A full investigation into the business practices of Golden Barns, Have A Heart Rescue, and the accountability of the property owner/landlord, Fountain Glen Farm LLC.
No Exceptions: We urge the court to reject any "allowance" of animals to remain in her care (such as the previous 25-dog allowance), as history proves she is incapable of providing humane care.
Strict Enforcement: Immediate seizure of all remaining animals currently on the property to be evaluated and re homed by reputable, licensed rescues.
CALL TO ACTION
Owning an animal is a privilege that requires compassion and responsibility. It is not a right to be used for exploitation. We stand for the puppies found deceased in inspections, the underweight survivors, and the future victims who will suffer if we do not act now.

Our community has been scarred by the negligent actions of Leetta Marshall, earning herself on the 2020 HSUS Horrible 100  bad breeder list.   She operates under Golden Barns , and her Have A Heart Rescue, and of the property owned by Fountain Glen Farm LLC ( Todd W Becker)

For years, countless pets have endured deplorable conditions under her care, leaving these helpless creatures to suffer without proper food, shelter, or medical attention. These tragic deaths are not isolated incidents; they are part of a disturbing pattern of neglect that must be addressed.

Leetta Marshall, also known as Golden Barns and a questionable status non profit, was arrested 03/26/2026. Immediate seizure off all dogs and cats remaining anim on the property Again. I'm hoping this might finally be the end of her long history of bad breeding and neglect. She lost her license to sell dogs years ago. She also lost her non profit status. But that hasn't stopped her. In 2023, she had 100 over dogs taken from her.  The dogs were in horrible conditions and underweight, some deaths resulted.  She had lots of pathetic excuses. Unfortunately , she was allowed to keep 25 dogs. Unfixed dogs.  As you can imagine, and as we warned the court.  Her animal numbers kept going up, and puppies being sold. 

Placed on the  2020 US Humane Society 100 Horrible list. They found:
Leetta Marshall, Have a Heart Dog Homes Inc. and Golden Barns- Puppy found deceased during inspection; inspectors noted "puppy deaths occur on a frequent basis" at operation that proports to be both a "rescue" and breeder.
 
 Owning a pet, whether for business or as a beloved family member is a responsibility that requires financial responsibility,  commitment, compassion, and respect.   Sadly, in the hands of Leetta Marshall, it has become an avenue for exploitation and cruelty. It's time to stop this ongoing abuse and neglect.
We call upon our local authorities and animal welfare organizations to intervene immediately. We urge them to investigate Leetta Marshall's businesses Golden Barns, Have A Heart Rescue, her landlord/ land owner Fountain Farm Barn LLC , and ensure that she is permanently banned from owning or breeding pets in the future.
