I've seen first-hand the damaging impact of false rape allegations against men. I've seen lives shattered and futures ruined as a result of vengeful actions that aim to exploit legal systems for monetary gains or to ruin someone's career. There needs to be a structural change in law enforcement and judicial systems where due diligence is exercised to vet these claims before action is taken. We must insist that investigations into these allegations are thorough, impartial, and based on concrete evidence. This is not to discourage genuine victims from reporting sexual assault, but rather to maintain the integrity of the system and protect it from misuse.
