Prevent development on green belt land, in a special landscape area in the High Peak

Prevent development on green belt land, in a special landscape area in the High Peak
The Issue
Three planning applications have recently been submitted for two huge, concrete and metal barns on the skyline above Chisworth in the High Peak. These are accompanied by an additional application for a 4 bedroomed house. This development is in Green Belt land and also in a Special Landscape Area (SLA). High Peak Council say they strongly support protection of SLAs, some of which is as fine as that found within the adjoining Peak District National Park… Accordingly the siting, design and landscaping of new development in the Special Landscape Area must have special regard to its landscape quality and character (High Peak Local Plan).
The planning applications are in direct contravention of this guidance, as it will be a modern development visible for miles around and the supporting document "Essential needs appraisal" is both emotive and factually inaccurate.
The proposed development is less than 500 meters from the boundary of the Peak District National Park, close to an Ancient Monument (Robin Hood's picking rods) and within a few meters of a National Trail (Cown Edge Way). The barns will create a negative visual impact on the area, the usage for cattle will create surface and ground water contamination as a result of the slurry created by keeping so many cows in a small area and the increased footfall of the cattle will have a detrimental impact to the ground nesting birds in the area; curlews and lapwings. Please help to stop this unnecessary development that will encroach on some beautiful countryside, impact our protected wildlife and set a precedent for further development in allocated green belt or special landscape areas. By signing this petition you are registering your objection to the development. To make your views heard more strongly please object directly by commenting on the following links by 3rd January (note you will need to object to all three); http://planning.highpeak.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=201329, http://planning.highpeak.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=201331, http://planning.highpeak.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=201332.
You can use the following text as comments to your objections - if you personalise it all the better but if you don't have time please just use it as it is
When you object to the plans please summarise the following bullet points into your own words as a basis for your objection. If you don't have time then use it as it is but if it's customised it will carry more weight with the planner.
Degrades the visual environment in a Special Lanscape area, close to an ancient monument and the Peak District National Park
Development is on the top of a hill and will be visible for miles around Increased cattle footfall will have a detrimental impact to ground nesting, protected waders (Lapwings and Curlews)
Size of the development is excessive compared to the stated need
Barns will be constructed from concrete and metal which are not sympathetic to the landscape
Noise, light and smell pollution from the development
Surface and ground water pollution impacting the current residents water supply
Building on Green Belt land is directly against national and local planning policies
The development in contrary to multiple policies in the local plan
