This semester has been a challenging semester for all students. While online classes may sound easier, it has resulted in students having to teach themselves for content that isn't understood, watching pre-recorded lectures and not being able to ask questions, no in-class interactions, and a strain on mental health. We would like to allow for the pass/ fail grading system to be allowed for the Fall 2020 semester at Kansas State University. This would alleviate the stress that students are facing from COVID-19 related issues, such as quarantine and spending time in isolation, as well as all of the stressors of taking online classes, and living and going to school amidst a worldwide pandemic.
