Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee has made the decision to opt TN out of the $300 weekly unemployment stimulus and the PUA benefits for self employed workers. And all other Government benefit programs. As of July 3 TN will no longer receive these much beeded benefits. The complaint is that more people are on unemployment than in other states/areas and that may be true however the toll of the pandemic has been worse on TN than a lot of other places. Are self employed people less deserving that others? Is the economy more important to Government than the risk of COVID to there constitutes? We are struggling to pay our mortgages, car payments, insurance premiums, abd all these other things that has been made law for us to obtain and now want to pull funding out from under us that we count on yo pay these law engorced things. 

My business is a cleaning service that requires me to enter people's homes and private offices to clean them. I have Stage 2 non small cell lung cancer and COVID is a fatal risk for me and therefore I have to remain closed. I was headed to a dr app a week ago and was involved in a car accident totalling my car. Insurance claim still processing therefore just had to make a 453 car payment on a totaled car while sitting here needing to go to the store for food for my kids. Please don't do this to us Gov. Lee. Please! What are we supposed to do? Do you want to be the reason for a state full of hungry and homeless children?
