Im starting this petition in hopes of getting trousdale turner correctional facility in hartsville tn closed down permit. Here's just a few reasons why I believe it needs shut down i hope this will encourage signatures.

• Its a private owned prison CORECIVIC this makes life so much harder for the inmate than it would be if it where a state ran facility.
• They don't give medical care or necessary daily meds to there inmates as they should. (Example- I know a inmate currently there that deals with depression and has high blood pressure lately they started him on meds for both and now only bring it to him as they decide to bring it rather than daily like it's needed. Example 2- diabetic man not feeling well begging medical for his insulation he should have gotten daily but they hadn't gave it to him at all for days his put in a wheelchair and put outside on the sidewalk and left there because his begging for insulation got on staff's nerves few hours later when officer goes to wheel him back inside his deceased due to there lack of medical care.)
• Certain pods once a inmate is in there not supposed to be able to be moved from that pod to any other pod (pretty sure it's would be against the law not just rules the prison has made)at trousdale the rules aren't followed because there is some kind of inmate/officer relationship going on weather it be a physical relationship or officer has something to do with drug sells inside the prison because if certain inmates tell certain officers that another inmate is in the way the officer will go against the rules and move that inmate.
• If you call they never answer the phone (yet there supposed to be there working). Leave a message even one yelling and threatening to sue them if something happens to a inmate because they aren't doing anything they still will not call you back. 
• They don't take it seriously or do anything when clearly told a inmates life is being threatened and in danger even if they are being stalked to the point when there on the phone with family they have several gang members behind them demanding inmates family members give money or they will rape,stab or kill the inmate.
• Officers and wardon have no control what so ever over the prison or there wouldn't be going inside cells with handmade weapons robbing inmates,inmates bullying other inmates at all,stalking people,shower security (different races being told by certain inmates like gangs or pod bosses where they are allowed to walk and if they walk in the wrong area they'll stalk and threatening inmates life unless they call home and the family throws money away on there stupidity). Its not the prisons rules that each race has certain areas they are allowed to walk Thur they can't even stop that so certain inmates run the place.
• There are officers there that just want to throw there weight around and slam people against walls and make statements such as if he got covid he was going to come in and cough on every white person in the place to give it to them because he hates them over a skin color. There's been paperwork against this officer for slamming people against walls over skin colors and even on cam but then it just disappears so nothing gets done.
• The family avocate will tell you the prison isn't allowed to move certain inmates from a pod once they are in it and when made aware it's been done by a certain officer there she'll say she's having something done and checking into it then you never here anything.
• Tony parker is over CORECIVIC prisons don't bother with contacting him with problems either they still aren't taken seriously or solved when he has the power to transfer inmates who's life is in danger.
• Inmates can't tell officers if they are in danger because some of the officers will tell inmates to go in the cell on them and beat them or even kill them then it gets covered up like they didn't know what's happened. Officers tell inmates they don't care if they get killed they are just a number and will have someone in to fill there place the next day.
• If a inmate gets jumped by gangs and hurt badly or even killed they do not even contact the family's.
• They have no kind of system as to how they house inmates when it should be all gangs in certain cell blocks, mental needs in certain blocks, elderly people ,normal non violent people. Extra they shouldn't all be able to just be around each other for the simple fact of some wanting to bully and think they run the place.
• They have no way to fight against covid with everyone running around.
• They never have enough officers to cover the correct amount that's supposed to be over a pod.
• There's been officers and staff attacked by inmates
• They don't want to allow the news channels in to cover when something happens the prison gets to keep everything covered up.
• Its right next to a nuclear tower that can't be good to even be within yards of.

Thanks for the time reading please help put a stop to this place before it let's more people's family members get killed and try to cover it. Id like to get this up to at least 7000 signed then if nothing is done and the system still let's this people down i promise I will take the petition to every single news channel in tennessee until something finally gets done.
