New Jersey’s favorite son, American icon Bruce Springsteen, was arrested on implausibly overcharged allegations. 

A statement filed in federal court yesterday details Springsteen’s November 14, 2020 arrest at Gateway National Recreation Area, also known as Sandy Hook.  Less than a day after the news broke, reports have emerged that the rock legend was ticketed after he was asked to take a tequila shot with fans while he sat on his motorcycle.  A park service ranger witnessed the incident and pulled him over for a series of sobriety tests.  The ranger arrested Springsteen, but later news sources revealed that his blood alcohol level was a mere .02 – a quarter of the state’s legal limit of .08. 

Because it was on Federal land, President Biden has the power to pardon him.  We urge the President to use that power now.  Bruce has been a Champion for civil rights and equality.  Arresting him on these facts is highly suspicious, and seems motivated by a political or personal agenda.
