As you know, 49 states allow underage children to consent to sexual activities with an adult, without the adult getting penalized or charged for rape of a child. If you have any common sense whatsoever, you would know a child shouldn’t be able to consent to anything sexual with an adult. The brains of children do not develop until later on in life and forcing sex on them at a young age is detrimental in the healthy development of that child (mentally, emotionally and spiritually).

Im 31 and a victim of child abuse and molestation. This happened to me when I was 14 years of age. When I look back on it today, I can tell you, I was groomed, tricked, taken advantage of and confused. If I knew what I know now, it would’ve never happened and I would have enough courage, strength and maturity to go to the right authority to handle the abuse accordingly. 

I say that to say this; CHILDREN ARE NOT AND WILL NEVER BE MATURE ENOUGH TO CONSENT TO SEX. You grow up having this guilt on your shoulders that shouldn’t be there and it’s up to you to heal yourself and/or get professional help. Don’t let our future (children) go through what we went through
