The Issue

We the people demand that the U.S Surgeon General and the FDA admit the facts and that the U.S Congress draft and pass a bill to label all meat products as ‘Hazardous to human health because of the risk of cancer and other types of diseases and illnesses’.
We bring this petition to the attention of the FDA and the Surgeon General and the Congress of the United States of America for your consideration.
It needs to be noted that this petition is not about the growth hormones and antibiotics that are fed to the animals (although they too are very detrimental to human health) but about the inherent dangers of consuming animal flesh and animal secretions.
We, as well meaning and concerned American citizens, do believe that in light of the overwhelming evidence brought forth by highly acclaimed scientist and medical doctors that there is a direct link between the consumption of animal flesh and animal secretions and several types of cancers and, a wide variety of other diseases. Diseases directly linked to, but not limited to, the eating of animal flesh and animal secretions are cancer, obesity, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis and a wide variety of other both physical and mental illnesses.
Therefore we demand you, as the duly bound representatives of the United States government and those whose job it is to inform and protect every American citizen, place a warning label stating the possible health risks and cancer risks on every package, can, box, bag of both raw and processed (bacon, sausage, hot dogs, salami, corned beef, beef jerky and ham as well as canned meat and meat-based sauces etc...) animal flesh and animal secretions including milk, all types of cheeses and sauces made from any type of animal milk. This is also to include but not limited to, all cow, pork, rabbit, lamb, chicken, turkey, fish, duck and all types of flight and flightless birds and waterfowl, this is also to include all meat labeled as 'exotic' or 'game' meat (lion, zebra, alligator, lama etc..).

Starting in 1612, tobacco was the first crop grown in America for profit and it was not until 1965 that the Congress of the U.S passed the ‘Cigarette labeling and advertising act’. The FDA even warns us about the dangers of possible cancer risk from tanning beds, http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm350790.htm in 1988 the ‘Alcoholic Beverage Labeling Act’ warned against the health dangers of drinking alcohol but yet not everybody smokes or tans or drinks alcohol still the North American Meat Institute says that 318 million Americans eat meat (that is the entire population of the USA), https://www.meatinstitute.org/index.php?ht=d/sp/i/47465/pid/47465
Smoking cigarettes, tanning or drinking alcohol will never be outlawed and neither will meat products (although they should be) but at the very least the general public needs to be informed of the inherent dangers. As all Americans know that freedom is our birthright but protecting its citizenry falls squarely on the shoulders of the U.S government.

The following scientific evidence will show that a human should never eat animal flesh or animal secretions and by doing so is very unhealthy leading to a wide variety of illnesses, diseases and even death and is breaking the bank because of the high cost of treating the sick.
The physiologically of the human body is 100% set up to be a herbivore our teeth are broad and flat our jaw is hinged so we can grind food we sweat through our pores we have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater
we have carbohydrate digestive enzymes in our saliva our intestines are 7 to 13 times longer than the length of our torso as to allow time for our bodies to extract the vitamins and minerals and complex carbohydrates and protein from the plants this length also allows decaying animal flesh to rot away and cause many health problems.
The true meat eaters lions, tigers, hyenas, bears, coyotes etc...have jaws that only move up and down, never side to side as to to rip flesh from bone they pant in order to cool themselves they have strong hydrochloric acid in stomach to digest meat. They do not have carbohydrate digestive enzymes in their saliva and their intestines are only 3 to 6 times the length of their torsos so the meat does not stay and rot in their system very long, it gets in and gets out quickly. The animal protein, cholesterol, saturated fat and trans-fatty acids will never clog their arteries as it does to humans. http://www.celestialhealing.net/physicalveg3.htm

The China Study by T. Colin Campbell, PhD is one of the most comprehensive studies ever done that clearly shows the link between the consumption of animal food (animal protein and animal secretions) and cancer. Dr.Campbell’s experiments proved that animal protein and the casein in animal secretions promotes the growth of cancer cells. He proved in a laboratory that cancer could be turned on and off like a light switch and then by studying 6,000 people in 60 counties (between 1973 and 1976) in China measuring 367 variables after the computer did its work the evidence was clear that a whole foods plant based diet was healthier and the less disease we would occur. But yet the United States government and the big corporate meat and dairy industry suppressed this life saving information until 2005 when Dr. Campbell released the book. But yet still our government does not tell the uninformed general public that what they themselves already know to be true and as a result many thousands of people will die year after year.

But surely our government would never put the lives of millions of Americans at risk if they knew the danger, right?
But then why does The United States government pay $550 million each year to convince people to consume animal flesh and animal secretions, the costs associated with treating cancer in 2010 was $124.5 billion and is estimated by 2020 to be $157.7 billion.
In comparison to the lawsuits the tobacco companies have paid $400 billion in health care costs over five decades.

And the book 'Meatonoics' by David Robinson Simon

“The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all natural disasters and all automobile accidents combined. If beef is your idea of “real food for real people” you had better live real close to a real good hospital.” Dr, Neal Barnard

As of 2015 The World Health Organization has determined that ‘dietary factors account for at least 30 percent of all cancers in Western countries and up to 20 percent in developing countries. When cancer researchers started to search for links between diet and cancer, one of the most noticeable findings was that people who avoided meat were much less likely to develop the disease’. All processed meats were placed in the classification as, ‘Group 1, carcinogenic to humans. What does this mean? This category is used when there is sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in humans. In other words, there is convincing evidence that the agent causes cancer. The evaluation is usually based on epidemiological studies showing the development of cancer in exposed humans. In the case of processed meat, this classification is based on sufficient evidence from epidemiological studies that eating processed meat causes colorectal cancer.’ They also state that red meat be classified as ‘Group 2A, probably carcinogenic to humans. What does this mean exactly?
In the case of red meat, the classification is based on limited evidence from epidemiological studies showing positive associations between eating red meat and developing colorectal cancer as well as strong mechanistic evidence. Limited evidence means that a positive association has been observed between exposure to the agent and cancer but that other explanations for the observations (technically termed chance, bias, or confounding) could not be ruled out.’

But it is not just red and processed meat but ALL meat that poses a health risk it is about the animal protein that is in all meat including pork chicken and fish.

The American Cancer Society has stated in their Nutritional Guidelines for Reducing Your Risk of Cancer that, ‘eating a diet made up of mostly vegetables, fruits and whole grains can help reduce cancer risk’ and that ‘Strong evidence indicates that increased consumption of fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of colon cancer.’

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has even started a movement to eliminate all fast food companies that sell animal flesh and animal secretions from hospitals.

It is far beyond obvious that the consumption of animal flesh and animal secretions that contain animal protein is the bottom line cause of a plethora of health related illnesses and many forms of cancer. And it is past time that our government acknowledge the proven facts and once and for all do the job that they are elected and paid to do and that is to protect the American citizen.

“The nutrients from animal based food, especially the protein, promote the development of the cancer, whereas the nutrients from plant based foods, especially the antioxidants, reverse the promotion stage” Dr. Colin T. Campbell
