I would like to have an Autism license plate to support Autism Awareness and acceptance. Our Child was diagnosed with Autism in an early age. Like our son, people diagnosed with Autism need acceptance and respect and what a better way to raise awareness and our support by creating an "Autism Awareness" custom license plate. I am aware that a few states such as Tennessee, Maryland, Illinois, Texas and Pennsylvania have an "Autism Awareness" license plate option. Here in California and the remaining states do not have that option. My family and I would like to have the same option to chose an "Autism Awareness " license plates. The only option available through the DMV is to order a Custom kids plate but this will not support people like our son with Autism and all the other families such as ours living Autism. Please consider this "Autism Awareness " custom plates to raise awareness and acceptance for this unique and special disability. Sincerely, Autism parent.
