A large number of people will be coming back from all the states and perhaps the world. As such, the chances of bringing back the virus are too high, considering it's still spreading around the world, and the countermeasures by the governments (of each state and each country) vary and are possibly unable to stop it from spreading or invading our Purdue community.

We're STEM school and STEM people, we do Scientific research, and we do things based on logic, facts, and solid theories. So we cannot just deny the facts that WHO(https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/q-a-coronaviruses ) has told us that

(1)"It is therefore possible to catch COVID-19 from someone who has, for example, just a mild cough and does not feel ill. " ---- potential for wide-spreading under undetected

(2)"Around 1 out of every 6 people who gets COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness." --- 1/6 possibility that the symptoms will become severe and students and faculty with disability are at high risk

If it's going to be caught, it'll be already spreading in our university that has a relatively high population density (Epidemiologically means easy for wide-spreading). It's also our social responsibility to provide options for the disabled and the individuals with a compromised immune system under high-pressure study!

Therefore, ONLINE schools PLEASE. We already have Purdue Global, and we have all sorts of things that are already online. GO BOILER, and Make me PROUD as a Boilermaker!

Notes: This is NOT a call for the entire school closure, but rather a SWITCH to the online classes as I believe we have the capability to run online courses.
