The matter of decolonization and renaming streets in Uganda has now been submitted to the courts of Law in Uganda for adjudication. This follows a lack of action by the executive and the legislature to address the matter submitted by over 5,780 Petitioners over three years ago. We trust and hope the judiciary will help the country to embark on an important journey to create more awareness about decolonization and to redress colonial injustices of all forms.
