We, the undersigned, believe that William Paterson University deserve an incredible commencement speaker. With an excellent choice of prior speakers such as William J. Pesce, Kevin Burkhardt, Dave Marash, and Susan Lisovicz, we know that William Paterson University and it's students deserve a promising speaker for the 2016 commencement. They deserve a speaker that will motivate and inspire more than previous speakers have. One with an alumni relationship, and national appeal. We believe that this individual is Ian Ziering.

Mr. Ziering graduated from William Paterson University in the Class of 1988, and grew up in Essex County, NJ. This New Jersey resident has seen a share of national recognition in film and television during his acting career including large roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-2000), Dancing With The Stars (2007), the Sharknado series (2013-2015), and most recently, Celebrity Apprentice (2015).
