Across the nation, people are protesting the murder of Black people in America. We have organized this petition in an effort to help support protesters and their communities while holding Bucknell University financially accountable for it’s claimed support of efforts toward racial justice.

We feel that Bucknell’s actions thus far in response to this political moment are unsatisfactory, and we would like to see a meaningful commitment to supporting Black communities.

We, as members of the Bucknell University community, are petitioning for the university to match the sum of all donations to funds created in support of combating systemic injustice as well as aiding the communities directly affected.
