My original petition was asking the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to induct Cher this year but despite receiving over 8,000 signatures, we were not successful in convincing them to nominate Cher despite her being more popular , successful, and relevant than anyone who was nominated this year. I guess the Rock Hall doesn’t care about their dismal treatment of women. So we are changing the petition to fight for something a little more important. Here are just a few of Cher’s amazing accomplishments over her 60 year career. 
1. Cher is the only artist to have a #1 in each decade since the 1960s.
2. Cher is the oldest woman to have a #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
3. Cher’s song Believe is the best selling single for a female artist in UK History.
4. Cher has received many awards including a Grammy, 3 Golden Globes, an Emmy, and an Academy Award for Best Actress.
5. Cher has been played over a billion times on Spotify.
6. Cher received the prestigious Kennedy Center Award in 2018.
7. Cher received the Billboard Icon Award in 2017.
8. Cher (combined with Sonny and Cher) has sold almost 200 million records worldwide.
9. Cher was voted as the 3rd favorite actress of all time in 2003 behind only her idols Katharine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn.
10. Cher’s career has spanned an impressive 60 years as she is more relevant than ever now.
