We are the students that got registered under the Old Syllabus i.e. before 1st September, 2013, and have been giving the exams under the Old Syllabus until June, 2016 which was declared to be the last attempt/session for the exams under the Old Syllabus. Due to switch over in syllabus we have to give additional exams with additional fee in upcoming December, 2016 examination.  We think that its unfair in a way that Old syllabus students who have already cleared their respective exams with only one or maximum two group left have to prepare again now with 2 more new papers i.e 1st Open Book and 2nd Information Technology, and previous subjects according to new syllabus exam pattern.

For example-

Student whose only 3rd Group of CS final in Old Syllabus is left. He/She has to now give three exams out of which two of them will be completely new subjects. On the contrary they cleared Strategic Management paper as per old course and now they will not getting any benefit for clearing this subject. Because in Old Syllabus ICSI has completely chucked this subject and has inserted new subject i.e Information technology.

 And according to New Syllabus students have to give this Paper. And also they have to secure 50% marks individually to pass in one subject due to switch over. Do you think that's fair sir???

 And for Student whose 2nd group is left as per Old Syllabus i.e 2 papers & by compulsory switch over he/She has to give 4 papers; out of which 2 subjects are completely new. Is it fair???

We have to pay fees for all modules is this fair???

We students are giving exams for total 10 subjects Instead of 9 as per New Syllabus because of switch over is this fair ???

How students will be able to prepare for this in less than 100 days??? 95% of them are in jobs/training's how they will take time for these two brand new subjects??

 As we already know that earlier also our request were taken on this ground but now coming so close to our dream students need your support again and one more last opportunity must be given to students as they deserve this and it is very difficult on their part to give additional exams just because of new syllabus. As we have given so many years in preparation of old syllabus exam or else many students will loose hope in ICSI and will leave CS at this stage after clearing  2-3 groups of CS Professional Programme.  . 

My sincere request to Senior Professionals and our Council Members to please help out the students. And kindly allow CS Old Syllabus students with one more last opportunity by waving off this compulsory switch over to New Syllabus. So that Old Syllabus student can clear their pending exams. It's a matter of future and the dreams of students who have spent their hard work in this prestigious Institute degree from so many years. Please consider our request and give directions to our dreams.
