Last year, an 82-year-old woman on a walker sang karaoke on a neighbor's porch. Children played music on their front porches, and the crowd made them feel like stars. This is what Perkasie PorchFest means to us - it's more than just an event; it's a day that brings our community together in celebration of arts, music and unity. 

Perkasie PorchFest has become a beloved tradition that bridges divides and fosters inclusivity. It provides something for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy while supporting our local businesses as families meet up with friends and loved ones to enjoy music.

Moreover, this event offers exposure for bands who often secure gigs as a result of their performances at the festival. Our community has always come together to execute this event safely, ensuring its success year after year.

However, we are now facing the possibility of losing this cherished tradition.  We urge our local authorities to recognize the importance of Perkasie PorchFest in fostering community spirit and unity in Perkasie, PA. We ask them not only to allow its continuation but also support its growth so that more members of our community can participate in future events.
