I have an open letter to games workshop why female custodies are not just a bad idea. but dangerous.

in short. it's this. 

It's time to act because such toxic co opters are just damaging a popular war game and making it less fun and less inclusive for everyone despite claiming to be for inclusivity.

it's not sexism that is driving the "culture war controversy" as some journalists incorrectly put it. 

 

 

 

unfortunately that level headed responses gets this. 

 

 

 

 

Worse yet. the people who like the change are engaging in illegal activity and abuse like doxing. 

 

Even with anti Semitic slurs. 

With all the animus to perceived men's hobbies. this is silly. 

If it was just a retcon, that would be easier to take but now they're saying this was ALWAYS the case. the lore itself says this is remarkably untrue. Some of the lore may be fluid, but most of it isn't. 

Sadly all people hear is 'you must not want to share with women'. that's a disingenuous put down.  

The people asking and demanding "female space marines" and "female custodes" are abusive. 

The idea that the fans are sexist falls flat because the sisters of silence exist. The sisters of battle exist. for every monk there is a nun. 

The Guard is gender diverse. 

 

 

We already have it. But no someone has to falsely accuse a hobby of being exclusively white male and say "a lack of female representation" keeps women from playing. 

no. in my open letter there exist women that protest the change and then are CALLED NOT REAL WOMEN OR "PICK MEs". The people who want the female custodies show their mask slip as being sexist bigots that shouldn't be.
