Petition updatePreserve The View That Named Richmond/Get a Riverfront Park in the ProcessThe CRUCIAL day for Protecting the Libby Park View is this Monday the14th

A FINAL PUSH : For those of you who live in or around Richmond PLEASE save the stunning vista from Libby Park by coming together at City Hall, 900 E. Broad St, 2nd Floor Council Chambers this Monday July 14th at 6.00pm
Libby Hill Park and its treasured views are at grave risk. We are calling for a 5 story alternative, but Monday evening City Council could approve a high-rise that will forever damage the Park and the panoramic views that we all love so much.
We know the vote is very close, if 4 out of 9 vote "no" the view is SAVED !
Certain councilors have told us: You can stop this if you have a huge turnout
So: Please turn out for the view & turn up for yourself.
You will kick yourself for not joining everyone else if the turnout is insufficient
Please wear something green to show your support for "Your Park and Your View"
Parking on the street or behind the J. Marshal Court House at 9th and Clay, 5 minutes walk. Carpool with friends, arrive just before 6.00pm.
Many thanks for all your support to date - if you know a friend who would sign the petition now - please ask them, every vote counts
180RVA
(Which Includes Scenic Virginia, Preservation Virginia & lot's of Richmonders !)
p/s For our friends who live far afield or who can't make it Monday - we will e-mail everyone with the result.
