Preserve The View That Named Richmond/Get a Riverfront Park in the Process

This petition had 1,830 supporters

We are very grateful to you for signing last year's Pear Street petition to save the historic panorama of the James River from Libby Hill Park. We're writing again because one of Virginia's most iconic vistas -- "The View That Named Richmond" -- remains at risk while the riverfront parcel below is in private hands.

May we count on you for your continued support? We've started a new petition aimed at helping us acquire the riverfront parcel, and we're asking that all Pear Street petition signers again add their voice.

Please click on the following link -- http://bit.ly/PreserveTheView-GetAPark -- to read the update and sign the new petition. You can also find the new petition by going to Change.org, clicking Browse, clicking Environmental, and entering The View That Named Richmond.

Thank you in advance for helping to preserve this historic, iconic panorama. If you have any questions, please contact Scenic Virginia at email@scenicvirginia.org. Note: The link to the new petition is posted on Scenic Virginia's website at www.scenicvirginia.org and Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ScenicVirginia.org.
