Our Sid Richardson College community has been privileged to know, interact with, and be served by our current Housing and Dining (H&D) staff. Their devoted work is seen in their bright smiles each time students need assistance. They are not just custodians; they have become friends, mentors, and extensions of our academic family, all while contributing significantly to the quality of life for each student. Removing them would mean risking these valuable relationships and our sense of community. Research affirms the importance of a stable and supportive living environment for student well-being and academic success (Bowman & Denson, 2017).
