We all love Danville, CA  as an escape from the rampant, unchecked development prevalent in other surrounding communities.

The charm and rural lifestyle that drew us here is now under threat. A developer seeks to build a six-story high-density apartment building downtown in place of the Village Town and Country Shopping Center. This project threatens to destroy the charm of Danville forever.

Moreover, such high-density housing can lead to increased traffic congestion and strain on public services - issues that we've managed well so far due to our town's controlled growth policies.

We must protect what makes Danville special – its small-town feel characterized by low-rise buildings and open spaces. We urge local authorities to preserve the long-term identity and tranquility of our town.
