Monday 3rd July
Whether you're behind us 100% or don't understand why we're fighting something that's 'mandatory' work please give us your time for one evening on Monday 3rd July at the Poynton British Legion on George's Road West at 7:30pm.
Let us talk you through why things aren't as mandatory as they seem, what we've been up to so far, what we have planned and what our values are now that we're set up as a community constitution.

This contains key information and details on how you can support us.
This will evolve with more background information over the next few days and weeks, but we hope it will be useful, particularly for those not on Facebook so please share with your friends, family and community.
What a community!!
Thank you to everybody that came along to Poynton Park on Saturday 1st July for our Community Gathering. We loved being able to talk to every single one of you and it was lovely to see people relaxing with friends and family.
The BBC came along and we made it onto the Saturday tea time news, as well as having an article written about our campaigning.

Unfortunately the following quote from Cheshire East Council is inaccurate:
''...listened to the views of residents and reduced the number of trees lost from 80 to 35.''
This is factually incorrect:
- 80 trees = trees to be felled plus those at risk
- 35 trees = felled, but there's no mention of what is at risk in addition this this. This could still add up to 80
This is more spin and misinformation from CEC!
