It's especially welcoming for individuals with special needs, children, strollers, senior pets, and those using wheelchairs because of its flat landscape, thus promoting inclusivity in outdoor pursuits. Further, with nine baseball fields already present just five minutes away, the proposed change compromises the diverse recreational options for the residents of Beaumont, CA. Converting the park would diminish the recreational diversity and not meet the needs of many year round. We encourage preserving Nicklaus Disc Golf Park for disc golf as this is a more compatible use for it considering local needs and preferences.
