Potential deal to save Allen Morris Park in the works by District 2 Commission team

To the supporters of Allen Morris Park:

Thank you all again for signing this petition to show your support for our tiny little green space in Brickell, Allen Morris Park. I wanted to provide a small update on some potential good news for the park’s future. 

Last night, I was able to attend the “District 2 Meet & Greet” event open to the community at the Salty Flame. There, I was able to express my concerns and support for Allen Morris Park directly to Commissioner Pardo and team. I learned there’s a potential deal in the works with Allen Morris Company where the District 2 team is trying to negotiate the future of the park, with the intent to try to preserve it. Details are limited, but it’s encouraging to know the team understands how important this park is to residents and is working to ensure we still have this little gem for residents to continue to enjoy. 

In the meantime, it’s still really important to continue to show and voice our support for preserving this little oasis.
