We are opposing the Demoliton of the Seawall Apartments iconic Tourist Holiday accommodation site which includes 7 Historic buildings on the corner of Pier St & the Beachfront at Glenelg.  Many visitors will have parked here and strolled to the beach, passing the fabulous mural entitled 'Beastly Sea' by award-winning South Australian artists Che Chorley and Dave Court. This is a huge site which houses two 1882 built mansions one of which was The Holdfast Bay Prep College, original stable and fishermen's cottage. We also oppose the proposed 13 storey 93 unit development which is excessive in height, in a current 5 storey height limited zone.  One of the largest breaches of height zoning seen in Adelaide. Oppose the demolition of these beautiful buildings which cover almost an acre of beachfront land and the construction of this excessive building on Adelaide's city beachfront.  The State Government must stop allowing the demolition of our History and our Heritage.
