I understand the troubling tasks during the Covid-19 pandemic that I'm sure your dealing with daily. But the recent announcement that came into effect Nov 13 , 2020 regarding the pause of all team sports (except Alberta Junior Hockey League, ACAC or USport) for the next 2 weeks needs to be reversed.

As most of us parents who have children in sports can agree the transmission of Covid-19 passed to one another during sports has been extremely minimal. We have all been in the same cohort now since September and we take extreme measures to make sure we stay healthy and Covid free.

Kids need to keep playing sports to ensure there mental health and overall well being is looked after. Dont fault the kids for other business mishaps..Kids aren't passing the virus as much as other age groups..

Look to enforce stricter rules for other types of business etc and just becuase Sports doesnt create any tax revenue for the government it's an easy way out..
