1. Too many unexplained dissapearances of companion animals.
2. The unexplained dissappearance and presumed theft of any companion animal deserves to be investigated in a thorough and proper manner by the appropriate authority, and it is for this reason that a State Task Force is required to bring this matter to the attention of the Queensland Police Service.
3. The theft of a companion pet is just as traumatic as the abduction of a human child and as such needs to be given the same attention.
4. Any person or persons found to be connected to any illegal dog activities in Queensland needs to be charged with their said crime and brought before the courts to answer for their said crimes.
4. This matter needs to be given more importance by the media and society as a whole and this Task Force is the way forward to that end.
