Pradhan Go Back!
The Issue
Demanding the Resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan & a better Education System!
During Dharmendra Pradhan's tenure as Union Education Minister, several major national examinations have faced allegations of paper leaks, irregularities, cancellations, or administrative failures. Talking just about this year:
1. JEE Main 2026: Confusion over the examination bulletin regarding the use of an on-screen calculator.
2. CBSE Class 12th Board Exams: QR code on the Mathematics question paper redirected to an unrelated video.
3. CUET-UG 2026: Technical glitches at several examination centres.
4. NEET-UG 2026: Paper leaked; "Guess Paper" closely matched the actual paper.
5. UPSC-Prelims 2026: Aspirants raised concerns over ambiguous and unusually framed questions.
6. JEE Advanced 2026: Candidate data exposure due to an alleged cloud storage misconfiguration.
7. CBSE Class 12 Results/On-Screen Marking (OSM)
8. MAHA TET-2026: Paper leaked!
These incidents have shaken students' confidence, mental health and well-being. At the same time, India continues to witness an alarming number of student suicides. Students, parents, educators, and mental health experts have repeatedly called for reforms that prioritize student well-being, reduce excessive academic pressure, and make institutions more accountable.
Through this petition, we call for political accountability and demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. We also urge the Government of India to undertake comprehensive education reforms that ensures:
1. Transformation of exam-centric Indian Education System to student-centric education system, which prioritizes students' mental health!
2. Reduced student suicides (systemic murders) in India.
3. Access to quality education for every child, irrespective of their background.
4. Education for underprivileged children who are unable to attend formal schooling.
5. An education that promotes Women and Child Safety through education, workshops and campaigns.
6. Free and fair conduction of examinations with transparency and accountability.
India's students deserve a better education system that is transparent, accountable, fair, and student-centric that prioritizes mental health & their well-being.
